The GTA Stockworks Lowrider stock is a continuation of the Lowrider that was developed by Richard Franklin in the early 2000's. After his retirement, Shurley Brothers made the stocks for many years. Eventually, GT Accuracy was able to obtain the design and continue to improve it.
The XL version is engineered for receivers UNDER 1.400" in diameter. This allows full bedding of the tang area for a clean, sophisticated look, while not making the vertical sides so thin they risk breaking. The Lowrider is an excellent choice for the Remington 700 style tang.
