Borden Mountaineer receivers come in three lengths: short, medium, and long. They are the full round body versions of the Alpine, Ridgeline, and Timberline receivers. While these receivers are slighlty heavier they are a better fit for competitions shooters as they are more easily polished.
This model of Mountaineer is a right handed, 308 repeater with ground finish. It has the Wyatt short mag well for longer cartridge overall length when shooting a BDL bottom metal. This mag well works flawlessly wiht M5 bottom metal as well. It is a bead blast finish with a integral recoil lug and a black 20 MOA rail.
