Borden Mountaineer receivers come in three lengths: short, medium, and long. They are the full round body versions of the Alpine, Ridgeline, and Timberline receivers. While these receivers are slighlty heavier they are a better fit for competitions shooters as they are more easily polished.
This model of Mountaineer is a right handed, 223 repeater with ground finish. It has the standard Remington 223 mag well for BDL bottom metal. This mag well works flawlessly with M5 bottom metal and 223 AICS mags. It is a bead blast finish with a integral recoil lug and a black 20 MOA rail.
